Be persistent and to forge ahead.
This hexagram (Innocence) has two meanings.
Firstly, it is related to the attitude to handle a task such as no deception and act recklessly.
This means one follows principles and never just muddles through the work.
Secondly, referring to training one’s mind, it is about no expectation.
This means one empties out one’s mind not expecting the achievements and fame and gain in the world detaching oneself from materialism.
This hexagram (Innocence) is about unexpected calamities.
The one who has got this hexagram (innocence) will experience disasters.
However, one should insist one’s principles and never change one’s will.
If it is the fate that you will experience disasters and it is not your fault, one will still have a chance to redress.
On the contrary, if it is one’s fault, it will never be restored.
The image of this hexagram (Innocence) is the sky which is moving.
Therefore, there is no deception.
On the contrary, if people move, there will be deception.
If the divinator strictly follows the principle and can be in the right and self-confident, a disaster will be controlled.
Divinator can bear this risk.

To correct evil doings and revert to good, one should have no deception.

Not to compete with others and not try to be the first to till land.
One has got the task of harvesting the crops.
One does not take credit for what is accomplished naturally and not compete to till land.
One just follows others to plant land which has been opened up for farming.
One is very cautious knowing it is tough and risky to open up the wasteland for farming and does not take credit for being the first to till land.
One is conservatively chasing for the stable result, so one can walk for a long way.
Someone ties a cow outside the village.
A passerby steals the cow and therefore villagers start a calamity.
Someone ties a cow next to a tree.
The cow escapes and runs.
By that time, a passerby sees it and steals it.
The master of the cow finds out the cow has been stolen so the master sues the villagers.
A number of villagers are under arrest.
A conflict and a lawsuit start because there is the cow stolen in the village.
Cautiously strengthening what one has and not acted rashly and blindly.
If one acts rashly and blindly, there will be calamities.
If one does not know the cause of the sickness, do not eat medicine rashly and blindly.
Unexpected sickness is a metaphor.
Although one complies faithfully to the correct path, one incurs unexpected slanders.
Do not go out and take actions easily.
