Other lines of this hexagram (Gradually) do not match up with this line.

Wild gooses fly to big stones along a river and eat happily on the ground.

Wild gooses fly and land on the ground and leave the area they are familiar with.

Because the toes of wild gooses are long, they cannot stand on small branches.

They can only stand on thick and big branches.

It implies that when one progresses gradually, one has to be expedient and to adapt to the environment.

Wild gooses fly to massifs and there are no companions.

A wife has not met her husband for 3 years so she is unable to be pregnant

After 3 years, her wish will come true.

Good fortune.

 

 

6th Line

 

Wild gooses fly back to the ground.

Originally, wild gooses fly away from shores gradually.

Now, they fly along the shores.

They have gone back to the ground but they know when to act and when not to act.

They know how to proceed gradually.

Good fortune.
